A two-phase strategic leadership coaching process.
Dalyn Dye, Break Out Strategic Coaching founder, guides you through a two-phase strategic coaching approach. Phase one lays the foundation by collecting information, asking questions, and understanding your specific situation and leadership style.
In phase two, you reach for the shifts. Dalyn will challenge you to shake things up, to stretch past feeling stuck. You don’t have to accept where you are. You can challenge limiting beliefs, unproductive habits, and ineffective leadership behaviors. You can challenge yourself and your organization’s status quo!
Throughout the process, Dalyn is there to support and challenge you as you learn and embrace new leadership skills and produce the results you desire.

Phase One. Lay the foundation.
1. Pre-Engagement
Each coaching program begins with a free introduction call about where you are and where you want to go in your leadership journey.
Dalyn will ask you about your current situation and your leadership goals.
Your coaching success requires an environment of trust. Together you will determine if there’s a fit between your needs and Dalyn’s coaching style and strategic coaching process.
Before moving to step two, you will agree on a statement of work, defined timeline, and contract.
2. Assessments
Leadership assessments help you clarify your leadership style and behaviors.
Dalyn will recommend a series of assessments for you to complete.
Depending on your situation and goals, he may also suggest multi-input assessments and interviews with people you interact with in your leadership role.
3. Deep-Dive
Evaluation of your assessment results reveal your leadership style and help you clarify your strengths and untapped potential.
Together with Dalyn’s help, you will identify leadership behaviors to develop and improve.
Your leadership style, along with your leadership vision, are the backbone of your strategic coaching program.

Phase Two. Reaching for the shifts.
1. Action plan
Armed with a new understanding of your leadership style, untapped potential, and leadership vision, Dalyn helps you produce an action plan to meet your leadership goals.
Equipped with specific leadership areas to focus on, you will confirm your action plan with those in your leadership ecosystem. Then, create actionable steps to achieve your leadership goals and vision.
2. Coach to plan
You are responsible for following your action plan, practicing new leadership behaviors, obtaining feedback, and tracking your results.
During your coaching sessions, Dalyn listens, asks questions, challenges you to overcome outdated habits, provides insights, and supports your progress.
3. Measure results
Dalyn works with you and those in your leadership network to confirm you are improving your leadership skills and behaviors.
Together you will identify ongoing support needs to assure new leadership behaviors and habits are a natural part of your leadership skill set.
